Is The Defense Minister Willing to Divide Jerusalem?

In a very recent interview, this is what Defense Minister Ehud Barak has to say about the current issue as regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

""The world isn't willing to accept — and we won't change that in 2010 — the expectation that Israel will rule another people for decades more," he said. "It's something that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world."

Is this politicking or is this really the sentiment of so-called moderates in Netanyahu's coalition? What is puzzling here is that it comes from the Defense Minister himself. A man who knows the struggles of keeping Israel safe day in and day out.

Even former Muslims who have seen the light agree that this is Israel's land and should not be divided.
